Tegallalang Rice Terraces Tour

The tour travels through rice fields, going to local villages, temples, and UNESCO World Heritage site Tegalalang Rice terraces. We also stop at your choice of a coffee plantation where you can have some free tasting coffee or visit the Balinese family home where you will meet a Balinese family and see what the traditional life in a Balinese compound is like.

At each stop, our local guide will explain to you all about what you are seeing including many items of cultural interest and Balinese life. If you travel during the rice harvesting season, we can stop and participate in the harvest.

The entire tour is done on our amazing electric bicycles which allow you to pedal as much or as little as you want. We make frequent stops and have a support vehicle following you at all times. Our guides also take pictures along the way.
Tirta Empul Water Temple

The Ubud to Tirta Empul Water Temple tour starts just outside of Ubud center and travels rice field tracks and back roads through local villages and rice terraces as you make your way to the UNESCO world heritage site, Tirta Empul water temple, where pilgrims go to cleanse themselves.

Along the way, enjoy the amazing views and see first hand the famous “subak”, the irrigation system which has developed over centuries to keep the rice fields green and fertile. We will also take you to a local family compound where you can see how the Balinese really live.

We make frequent stops and have a support vehicle following you at all times. Our guides also take pictures along the way.

The tour finishes at Tirta Empul. You can explore the temple grounds and, if you choose, participate in the bathing ritual. Once finished, a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant will be waiting for you.
