Danaigu Creek belongs to the catchment area of the upper reaches of Zengwen Creek, and the "pomfret", commonly known as bitter flower, is abundant in the creek. In the past, outsiders often went to poisoned fish and electric fish, endangering the safety of drinking water for villagers and destroying the natural ecology of the original stream. Later, at the initiative of former township head Gao Zhengsheng, the villagers donated the fishing grounds that belonged to each clan to form the "Stream Conservation Association". The conservation plan started a series of consultations and planning in 1985. In 1989, the "Conservation Team" was officially established and the "River Protection Committee" was formed. The villagers spontaneously formed a river patrol team to prevent electric fish and poisonous fish, and strengthen the prevention and control of river pollution.
