There are few places on Earth that can match the beauty of the Manjuyod Sandbar. Located in North Bais Bay and an hour and a half hours away from Dumaguete, this famous destination is renowned for its pristine white sands and crystal clear waters. Often called "the Philippine Maldives'' because of its stunning natural beauty, Manjuyod Sandbar is also home to some amazing wildlife - dolphins swimming in the ocean, birds soaring overhead, and many more surprises waiting for you at this enchanting place. Start your island escapade with an early hotel pick up and you'll soon be on your way to Bais for a chance to see majestic dolphins. If you're lucky, you may spot some pantropical spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and maybe even some long-snouted spinner dolphins! A friendly boat guide will then bring you to the Manjuyod White Sandbar, where you can picnic, swim, sunbathe or just chill out. Also called the Sumapao Shoal, the sandbar has an estimated 600 hectare total strip area, including the submerged portions.
