The British Consulate Cultural Park in Dagou is located in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City. It includes the official residence of the consulate on the mountain, the office of the consulate at the foot of the mountain, and a hiking trail. It is the first consulate built by the British government in Taiwan, and it is also the only official residence and office in Taiwan that are completely preserved. The consulate campus was upgraded to a national monument in 2019 by the Ministry of Culture. Visit the official residence of the consulate and witness the changes in Taiwan's colonial-style architecture. The best time is from afternoon to evening to enjoy the sunset in the west.
