Fengyi Academy, located next to the Chenghuang Temple, was built in 1814 and was listed as a third-class historic site in 1974. It was built by Zhang Tingqin, a senior tribute student who was a candidate for training in Fengshan. At that time, there were 37 houses. In the courtyard, the gods of Wenchang, Kuichang, and Cangsheng were originally enshrined, and there were tables and chairs. It is also the largest existing academy in Taiwan.
