On the first day, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Delhi and head off to Nainital. Nainital, a beautiful valley with a gorgeous lake, is a must-see destination for hikers looking for that perfect panorama nestled in the mountains. Once you’ve checked into your hotel and found yourself some lunch, take a breather before you head to Nainital Lake for a boat ride over. This pear-shaped lake is bluegreen and tectonic in its origins. After the boating, you’ll visit Naina Devi Temple for a closer exploration into local religious culture and how the temple features into the locals’ spirituality. You then head back to the hotel for dinner at the end of the day. Day 2 begins with breakfast at the campsite and for this day, you’ll be able to go sightseeing in Nainital. There are many areas in Nainital worth visiting, from Naina Peak to St. John in the Wilderness and Gurney House.
