Our Pallay Punchu adventure kicks off bright and early with a meet point pick-up at 4:00 AM. From there, we set off on a picturesque 210-kilometer (130-mile) drive to the province of Canas, Cusco, reveling in the Andean beauty en route.
By 9:00 AM, we reach Layo Canas, where a hearty breakfast awaits to prep us for the trek. Post-breakfast, our 7-kilometer (4.3-mile) hike to Pallay Punchu Mountain begins, a journey of approximately 3 hours. The ascent offers a mesmerizing canvas of colorful landscapes.
After relishing the panoramic views from the summit, we'll make our way back to Layo Canas. The day concludes with a 4 to 5-hour drive, returning to Cusco by 7:00 PM, marking the end of our memorable Pallay Punchu adventure.
