Koishikawa Korakuen built in 1629, is the oldest existing feudal lord's garden in Edo.
The garden is a kaiyushiki style garden with a pond at its center and a richly varied landscape.
The garden is modeled after scenic spots in various parts of Japan, but also incorporates Chinese elements. The garden is also named after the Chinese book "Yueyang Lou Ji" by Fan Zhongjian.
Various flowers bloom in each season! Events are also held depending on the season!
